WGES was named a National Beta School of Merit & a National Beta School of Distinction for the 2020-2021 school year for the Beta Club members' dedication and commitment to academic excellence!
We are so proud of our Beta students for their hard work and volunteer service projects.
WGES Junior BETA Club
The purpose of the Junior BETA Club is to recognize and promote high academic achievement, reward and nurture worthy character, foster leadership skills, and encourage service to others. In fact, service to the community is one of the most important characteristics of Junior BETA members.
WGES Junior BETA Requirements
Membership in the WGES Junior BETA Club is a privilege and not a right. Students are invited to apply for membership in Junior BETA based on high achievement, moral and ethical character, and commendable attitude.
Members are composed of 4th and 5th grade students with invitations sent out to 4th and 5th grade students who meet the membership criteria.
BETA Meeting Dates
Meetings are held once per month on Tuesdays from 2:35-3:20 pm. Please see the Beta Calendar for specific dates.
